Electric / Acoustic Bass

The electric bass is a key member of the so-called rhythm section. Its main role is to accompany the various “soloist” instruments in various grooves and genres of music. Beyond this, however, the Electric Bass is now also a complete “soloist” instrument, allowing improvisations in all kinds of music such as rock jazz, fusion, funk, etc.

The curriculum includes text reading, study of chords, scales and their use in accompaniment and improvisation, and study of the “slap” technique. The long-term cooperation of our Conservatory with the Registry of Guitar Tutors contributes to the complete musical training of students.
