Orff Orchestra

The melodic and idiomatic percussion orchestra is a musical ensemble made up of elementary school children, with or without special musical knowledge. It is a children’s orchestra with musical instruments of the Orff orchestra, which enable each child to be able to play easy or more difficult parts, within the ensemble, depending on his musical knowledge. The instruments taught during the course are the xylophone, metallophone, glockenspiel, drums and many idiomatic percussion instruments.

The class is group, lasts one hour a week, during which exercises are done on rhythm, concentration, listening skills, simple music theory and, of course, teaching songs on the instruments. The benefits of the orchestra from an early age are many, the child learns to cooperate, to concentrate, to be exposed to an audience, he exercises his ear and also his voice, as he joins a creative occupation.
