Achilleas Beris
He was born in Athens in 1998. He got his first musical impulses from a very young age, as he grew up in a musical family environment, which inspired him to engage in it.
Since 2004, he has been participating in the family musical group Family Voices, with which he took part in many concerts-performances, radio and television shows.
In 2006, he began his violin studies at the Filippos Nakas Conservatory with Nelli Oikonomidou and in 2021 he received First Prize and passed his diploma exams with excellent marks.
In 2016 he graduated from the Music School of Ilios and began to study at the Department of Music Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while continuing his musical studies at the Filippos Nakas Conservatory.
From 2017 until today he is a member of the Hellenic Youth Symphony Orchestra (ELSON) with founder and conductor Dionysis Grammenos with the support of the National Opera and the Ioannis S. Latsis Foundation, taking part in three concerts every year at the Stavros Foundation Cultural Center Niarchos. Also from 2018 until today he is a member of Sinfonietta Hellenica with founder and conductor Giorgos Galanis.
In 2018, he received his degree in harmony and counterpoint with honors with professor Evangelos Kokkoris, while attending choir conducting with Michalis Papapetrou at the Filippos Nakas Conservatory.
In 2019 he participated in the Euregio Music Festival with a tour in three cities in Germany. Then he took part in a very important music concert at Carnegie Hall in New York with the Athens Philharmonic orchestra with conductor and founder Yiannis Hatziloizou.
In 2020-2021 he obtained a degree in Counterpoint and Fugue with honors with professor Evangelos Kokkoris.
